Before and since the announcement of ChatGPT, Gen AI continues at an accelerated pace. Use of Gen AI by commercial payers, health systems and physician groups continues to evolve and expand across the healthcare value chain. This session will cover questions and insights such as: How is Gen AI helping commercial payers perform more efficiently while also providing better service to patients and customers (e.g., streamlining prior authorization and claims processing)? In hospital and physician groups, how is Gen AI impacting aspects of continuity of

clinical care and decision-making to include front and back-office operations? As use cases continue to expand and emerge, healthcare executives must think about how to integrate the various models along with the privacy and security risks. Another consideration is while Gen AI can augment clinician clinical decision-making, we cannot lose the “human clinician in the loop” for final decision-making.
