President - Drew Hoffman

Drew joined Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting in 2010 as a Senior Analyst. He supports Pinnacle’s physician compensation, valuation and appraisal divisions, and provides client support to participants in Pinnacle’s innovative Physician FMV Program.  A Certified Healthcare Financial Professional through Healthcare Financial Management Association, Drew interned at Arthur J. Gallagher & Company prior to joining Pinnacle. 

Past President - Brandon Eggleston

Brandon is a certified public accountant and an audit partner at Ernst & Young. He has spent the last 17 years serving Denver-area for-profit and non-profit healthcare organizations including hospitals and multi-hospital systems and other healthcare providers, not-for-profit foundations, insurance companies, and biotechnology companies.  He has a Master of Accountancy degree from Brigham Young University.

Treasurer - Daniel Cooper

Dan is the Assistant Director of Accounting and Reporting at Children's Hospital Colorado leveraging his experience as a certified public accountant and previous public accounting experience with Ernst & Young.  Prior to his current role, he spent 7 years serving Denver-area for-profit and non-profit healthcare organization, not-for-profit foundations, insurance companies and biotechnology companies with Ernst & Young.  He has both a Master of Accountancy degree and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver.

Member-At-Large - John Baumgarten

John is Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Market Development for Air Methods Corporation. Air Methods is the world’s largest Air Ambulance operator and is America's leader in emergency air transport. Air Methods has built its reputation on a commitment to quality patient care and safety in aviation operations. Calling Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado home, Air Methods operations expand from Alaska to Key West. 

Community Outreach Chair - Triche Guenin

Triche Guenin is President of Partners Through Change, Inc. (PTC), a process improvement consultancy.  PTC focuses on facilitating healthcare organizations through operational changes resulting in increased efficiency/effectiveness thereby impacting patient outcomes and safety.  Her strength is on reducing waste and allowing more to be done with less.  

Registration Chair - Maddie Philley

Maddie Philley is the wellness coordinator at Children's Hospital Colorado, responsible for planning the short- and long-term wellness strategy, coordinating events, engaging employees, and educating them not only about health risks, but also about wellness resources available to them. Maddie's background in healthcare ranges from human resources to strategy and business development.

Membership Chair - Everett “Eddy” Costa III, D.M.

Eddy served in the United States Air Force and has over 10 years of Healthcare consulting experience. He is currently an Account Executive with the Center for Improving Value in Healthcare (CIVHC), where he plays a key role in working with state and national healthcare executives to leverage Colorado's inclusive claims database to drive actionable change to support better health, better care, and lower costs.

Analytics Chair - Bobbie Kite

Dr. Bobbie Kite joins us from the Department of Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Prior to joining the University of Denver as an adjunct faculty member, Dr. Kite served as a CTRIP Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Informatics in 2014. Her research focuses on the integration of disparate sources of data with clinical measurement guidelines (CMGs) and operation evidence in data fusion platforms to generate knowledge towards improving the health and healthcare delivery while improving business outcomes. In addition, she brings knowledge of competency-based education with the field of health data analytics and informatics to the classroom.

Events Chair - Amalea Karavias

Amalea is the inventory manager for Bacterin International, Inc., where she monitors donated bone and tissue grafts in various hospitals and health facilities across the country. She previously worked in partner relations for MD Info and as an account manager for Destination Services of Colorado. She received a bachelors degree in Public Relations from Northern Michigan University and holds a degree from the University of Denver.

Marketing Chair - Matt Trcka

Matt made a significant impact in the Chicago advertising community leading successful campaigns for highly recognized brands such as Philips Medical Systems and the Green Bay Packers.  As president of ide8, Matt has developed brand/marketing programs for leading organizations including the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, Delta Dental, Goodwill Industries, Exempla Healthcare, HealthONE and many more.
