THE MARRIAGE OF SEARCH AND TRANSPARENCY:

Why You Want To Be At The Wedding

“Google it.”  That’s what many patients and family members do when it comes to health care.  In fact, a recent study illustrates that 80 percent of consumers use the Internet as their primary source for healthcare information, and 29 percent of all Internet users are utilizing the Web to find information on a particular doctor or hospital.  And not surprisingly, most of these consumers start with search engines.  This type of healthcare consumerism leads to empowerment and active engagement – providing strategic opportunities for healthcare organizations.

With the Internet and healthcare consumerism becoming such powerful and influential forces that shape healthcare, come learn about the union of online search and transparency and how it will affect your organization.  Understand how you can leverage the Internet to capitalize on consumers’ desire for transparency.  Learn about “smart search”, and the potential implications for hospitals and health systems.  Find out what you can do to strategically leverage the Internet to build your business.
