Strange Bedfellows
How Physicians and Hospitals are Learning New Ways to Work with Each Other.

While hospitals and physicians will probably always be strange bedfellows, a variety of new collaborative relationships are being developed today, and new forms are on the horizon. This CHSM program will focus on the current and emerging physician and hospital relationship strategies, including strategies that vary based on local market conditions, trends and approaches. Primary care and specialty physicians relationships will be explored, and we will also discuss typical medical staff-related challenges. The presentation will examine the opportunities and uncertainties created by recent regulatory developments, and identify key lessons learned from collaboration successes and failures.
